I have 2 friends close to me with diabetes type 1, I can clearly see how much this disease influences their lives and also how far medicine has already come in the last 40 years changing the way of living with diabetes type 1. I want to help develop better circumstances for people with diabetes type 1, making their lives more comfortable and 'normal' and giving them the best treatment possible. I bike for my 2 friends, but also for all the other patients out there living this disease.
